Job Responsibilities
; M% v) G" l4 M: V& {' e•        To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.7 n8 j% L% {  n) A. V4 z8 E, u3 T6 G7 D
•        Oversee hotel security requirements.
; @" [! Z7 ?9 P" @4 `•        To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.
4 K( w1 j7 |3 V9 \% M•        To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation. 7 J8 h& M0 }6 D2 c: Q3 G' U6 O
•        To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.+ ?: e% X5 S$ x3 C& A
•        To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.
' u- E' @4 G' y/ V+ v& j  D5 k7 Z' l•        To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.
( ]# D0 j. g$ p! W* \4 i/ ~•        Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.
! G0 j0 `6 a6 c" @% O  s•        Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff.
# X/ }) k2 @9 a•        Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term.
3 I6 F3 T, l/ @+ o: u9 v) @3 i•        Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed.
. k$ Z: @4 z" R2 ?# ~3 Z. a( Y6 R9 t•        Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service.
* x, Q7 K* F3 K9 L/ @$ l•        Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.
" v6 g" C1 _# f$ ?5 N•        Attend Cluster meetings.
  g2 [6 d" a; X•        Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.
* l: y- e& _& }% M( E•        Handle PMS computer problems in each department
& ?# W  K# d* V# `3 h/ m  z, x•        Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies8 K0 R. s* x9 k* H6 r7 n6 k9 h
•        Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center; R9 E/ M- |! R- Z1 u
•        Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float
& s2 C) A; m. w+ o2 @•        Any other tasks assigned by the General Manager

•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
# r1 S0 l8 p' @* X/ {- I• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;3 w1 X- ]3 p0 L
• Ability to lead and develop;, a( q( O/ r# b5 C
• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;
* B2 L0 m/ w3 C3 g6 j5 U" f• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;7 w! K; j6 K) I+ B+ l7 @
• Ability to work within deadlines;
' n! v3 r  N6 z5 i# |• High level of creativity and innovation;
0 Q/ U2 U( ~3 I+ W2 n7 ~• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;. d$ S; ^0 Q7 z' U' F+ A5 t
• Strong interpersonal skills and a working knowledge of ACT, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
