question about the "Land Transfer Tax"

hi, does anybody know about the "Land Transfer Tax" here in Edmonton? If you buy an old house, do you need to pay it? How much? How can I pay it and to whom?

I do not think we need to pay "land transfer tax" here, but you 'd better ask a lawyer.

When you buy a house, you have to have a lawyer, and your lawyer will tell you everything.
