Today Family Violence Help Centre is an innovative centre which operates with an integrated services model providing a single point of entry to comprehensive services for those impacted by family violence in Edmonton and area. The Today Family Violence Help Centre is part of a collaborative, coordinated community response.

; D& C% H% e8 O0 }% g4 ]We are currently looking for an experienced individual for the term position of Housing Support Worker to start immediately. As part of a team, the individual will be required to build a housing registry, develop relationships with community agencies that will address housing needs and coordination of housing services for individuals impacted by Family Violence.

! f* C0 A0 y0 s! r+ B; b6 JThe ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
 Minimum post secondary degree or in progress of obtaining a degree.
 Two to three years front line experience in providing resources to clients with barriers or experience in programs providing housing to clients with barriers.
 Experience in assisting clients who have barriers to accessing housing.
& @$ J" _+ N  t- A) l7 {5 {8 }6 v Commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, program participants, and community agencies.
0 }+ X/ U+ N, ]7 Z+ B7 f, I& L( T Demonstrated knowledge of community housing resources.
1 ]" A# k0 r2 N  V Excellent computer skills, interpersonal and written communication skills.
 Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
! o6 d1 T  }; V9 i9 c An understanding of family violence is an asset. The hourly rate is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on the qualifications of
