This position reports directly to the District Program Manager
- ]+ @1 R1 p0 h  R& i" s( I. W8 t/ w: v* E
Key Responsibilities are as follows:
) @- c# [* N4 H! C. x) N) J•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
: ?  M. t0 l( O/ K•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of  up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies
& s, C9 p2 J' R5 R  V4 H* G7 ]•Required skills include:  understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
/ o4 U3 F9 A5 R' M•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
& m$ R; B# |# y6 L5 m•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential- K) m4 I: c6 d/ W

Qualifications:
. M3 k) N# ?1 g8 {•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
' b2 @% j8 C# z" c•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
, v" K5 ]1 C& l/ s5 E•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;7 i8 ^3 F, f7 L0 L$ u8 u
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential 7 c) Q: y6 e/ H* F9 i) ]
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.+ ]& D# w3 T" E6 H
