To provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.) {: X3 t% m n0 |0 Y

Primary Objective/Duties of position:0 z# x& P8 l4 A, ]! `/ F
7 g4 K: }. ^& j1 m% }$ Z* y Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals- @' e# D7 O9 n% j) w' |! T0 v
Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business% w' X/ g, a2 n3 p7 x
Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients
! d+ y# E& l) n, |3 \9 N8 K" ~ Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy' } p# j# J k/ F8 @8 s
Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals
, K4 m( _- Z8 b8 P. |: \# | Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
r8 ^* G1 K) Y7 f6 J Actively participate in training initiatives

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:9 u, \- R9 e# _
u1 N7 Y6 H9 l High School and or Post Secondary Education/ O( ^' d5 K: c% j8 W c6 w( M
Previous customer service experience- r% v3 i( w3 j( L5 Y* @. @) u Q
Previous sales experience an asset
& a5 J6 D6 {9 r" k3 N2 \7 w @6 f General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain$ N: \- ~- N) E J2 N2 A; |" a
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
+ \2 W2 n" R6 t# \ Strong analytical and organizational skills

Excellent customer services skills and adept in conflict resolution
