Position Summary:
To provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.

Primary Objective/Duties of position:

7 g4 K: }. ^& j1 m% }$ Z* y    Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
    Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business
    Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients
! d+ y# E& l) n, |3 \9 N8 K" ~    Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
    Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals
, K4 m( _- Z8 b8 P. |: \# |    Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  u1 N7 Y6 H9 l    High School and or Post Secondary Education
    Previous customer service experience
    Previous sales experience an asset
& a5 J6 D6 {9 r" k3 N2 \7 w  @6 f    General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain
    Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully

    Excellent customer services skills and adept in conflict resolution
