Alberta's Orientation program is now confirmed. In addition, we would

(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By 5 s5 |& s8 |# N
attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of

If you are unfamiliar with campus you can visit

' t% H# B. ?8 [to find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds ; {. q- z/ Y. `8 t
of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically % m6 l' T5 r( h- i
look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth % h) d/ b u, D* e6 g9 w6 n
of directional information.

3 U0 A8 w! l* i) }7 h) b8 VBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
' [- V8 g) T$ L1 D' {/ D6 ]activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend , o, C$ o; q3 f1 @) ~$ N1 [
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
; Q& D- k. r8 z3 kevening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
' |3 S$ @. R3 ^1 k) e5 B. w+ QHawrelak Park.

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
1 B3 M% O* z2 G6 tSeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, 0 E4 N- M" {3 F% d
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
2 G* x( N# A4 h' Q# V3 G- m; F* u* Rto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from # ?( T6 _3 Q# G
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
8 K o) S2 P6 v1 n) OONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
/ E+ w4 S. c4 ^% G. @your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece 9 `+ |, k, \+ g3 p, b2 _3 o
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
9 P' n7 Z; R& e1 |& kComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
# o ^. B8 `& p$ f- d/ R2 xInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and 5 _) A4 s& ~' J- [
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the * x1 B' J) f+ t% k0 p0 |+ s6 w. u
