市长挺赞成的，好像温哥华 卡加里都是允许的，我不清楚这后院养鸡是为了吃鸡蛋还是养鸡作为宠物？ 公鸡母鸡都允许吗？

公鸡打鸣会是个问题，养母鸡能安静点。

在国内住楼房时孩子曾经养小鸡雏当宠物，它们也喜欢跟人，每天下班回家一开门它们就朝着门口跑过来，地板太滑它都刹不住闸样子非常可爱。可是当它们长出翅膀能从纸壳箱里飞出来后就不能留啦，放在朋友的工厂里养着可刚一到冬天全被锅炉工给偷吃啦。

It's something that is currently illegal in Edmonton, but a city committee is set to review a report on the a proposed urban hen pilot project, and at least one member of council supports the idea.

The report, set to be introduced to the Community Services Committee on Monday, August 18, outlines the possible development of a pilot project to allow hens to be raised on private property within the City of Edmonton.
