Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
7 ~5 {8 n$ m& L. {$ y" p5 J8 V' XEstimate food requirements and food/labor costs
Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
& E' H4 Z* U% aArrange for equipment purchases and repairs
Recruit and manage kitchen staff
+ Q& y( {  k/ a8 ~& C9 T( }Rectify arising problems or complaints
$ K1 ?+ ?/ `) y  F5 M- `9 ]2 p8 MGive prepared plates the “final touch”
Perform administrative duties
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Keep time and payroll records
; N2 j8 l; `/ AMaintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Communication and leadership skills
Keep up with cooking trends and best practices

BS degree in Culinary science or related certificate
