The house prices are ridiculously high now, they will drop in 1-5 years for sure. It is too risky to buy a house now, you may end losing a lot of money. Now those construction workers make tons of money, if you buy a house, you are donating money to them. If you have too much money, you can do that, if not, you need to think about it carefully.

4 q, C5 @: L9 z- q/ cRenting is a much better option for you, it is cheaper. Try to save money now and wait for a couple of years, if prices drop significantly, then you can buy. Otherwise you may want to move other cities./ L, W3 U& }# n& a6 D6 W2 }& L* p: k! P

Especially if your husband lose his job and you have to pay $2400 for your house monthly, you will be under tremendous pressure.

# g/ u( t6 I; @, r5 \There is no difference in terms of life quality between renting a house or owning a house. A house is just a place for you to live no matter you own it or rent it. The benefit to own a house is you can build equity from it. After 100% price increase in the recent years, I don't expect to get 10% increase annualy., z9 ? }, F8 q) z
