The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

+ A$ A" x) p# h/ tMust be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials: W' O* G _" L8 H, t4 e, Z
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials4 l; f R) N4 f$ Q7 @
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material
6 z% a" l, n6 e8 `: V% iMust be able to work safely at all times( \+ }& m, Z5 w, d! u
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently
( z6 a1 c- I5 OPerforms routine housekeeping.
N4 h9 i) X$ AObserves and reports any safety issues, B* \- U3 V2 N/ G6 y

Understand and be able to grade all non-ferrous material properly

Knowledge of non-ferrous processing
6 B2 P% c; ~3 s& \! c" `1 YHigh school diploma (Or GED)

Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization7 F" j8 w; f7 j$ A$ e4 h
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
