: U3 U4 y1 `9 S9 \Duties include: working closely with graduate students and research
technicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
for use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
, {! T8 u. A5 K. E0 h. k) linclude carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
% h! ^; z0 d% l/ r6 ?' p" \compounds by chromatography.

4 P5 h" {% ^' J7 g/ t2 @Qualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
8 ~) |6 n3 p" I/ iChemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
analytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
; R3 T5 J" }# Q: C4 L6 y7 Iseparations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
of a team essential.
